Processing Period: Post Visa Appointment

After you are done with your visa interview, you have around a month (maybe less or more) before departing for Germany. I highly recommend utilizing this precious time for engaging in the following activities:

1. Learn German language

You will have to do this eventually here so start early. Regardless of the language of your study, having some German competency will help you immensely for performing daily tasks (working, shopping, socializing etc.)

2. Get a complete medical check-up

Take vaccinations for fever, typhoid etc. for the betterment of your own health. The public health insurance system does cover for a lot but it is highly recommended to best be on the safe side of things.
