Purpose of this blog

With this post, I would like to take a step back and rethink my purpose for this blog and its future. The reason I started blogging consistently was because I had a lot of things to say about life in computing, education and design and a blog seemed to be the premier medium to share my thoughts and experiences.

At times, I do find that having this blog as my only platform is pretty limiting. I have numerous things to share, but not all of them fit the content structure of a blog post. Presentations, posters and scripts are some resources that come to mind. Some topics are better suited to walkthroughs, while others need a more long-form outlook, such as a full-blown tutorial. Some topics are about my knowledge gaps and areas that are still new to me, which might require feedback from and collaboration with other content creators in the digital space.

So that’s what I will do – experiment with different content platforms that best suit the topic I want to discuss. I still want this blog to be my central platform, so I will continue writing blog posts and link to other content as and when I create it. I hope you find this experiment helpful and entertaining.
